Earlier today, we said how Matias Duarte defended Android’s interface throughout a panel at Mobile First CrunchUp. By stating that the option between Android and iOS is only a matter of preference. Well, it appears Android’s Director of Interface was not even close to done. Because in the finish from the talk, Duarte gave us another goodie to set of.

Throughout the Q/A session from the talk, American rapper, Chamillionaire required a minute to state his discontent with current mobile phones, saying: “I’ve used each one of these different products - they suck.” After stating that, he requested Duarte’s recommendation which phone he should purchase. That Duarte responded: “I’m wishing that soon we’re going with an Android phone you’re likely to love.”

The important thing word here's “we”. Duarte may be speaking about “we” as with “we the Android community”. By which situation, he only agreed to be speaking about approaching Android phones such as the Samsung Universe S. However, he or she is mentioning to “we” as with “Google”. Which we'd mean he was speaking concerning the Nexus 3.

For the reason that situation, the Nexus 3 is originating soon and Duarte hopes that individuals like Chamillionaire will like it. But what could Duarte and Google possibly caused by result in the Nexus 3 attractive to Chamillionaire - or an average joe for your matter? Four words spring to mind: Simplicity, reliability, elegance and responsiveness. I understand I will get lots of hateful comments with this, but here it is going. The Nexus 3 must be simple to use, easy to check out, reliable and incredibly responsive. That's, if Google wants people like Chamillionaire to like it. Which based on Duarte’s response, is one thing they’re clearly centered on.
